The Douglas Function Centre is a beautifully designed, versatile and comfortable function venue situated above Southern Stones bar and Rockgrill right next to the 4 star Parkhaven Motor Lodge. We cater for many sizes and styles of functions from a small gathering up to seating for 90 guests. The professionalism and experience of our team will ensure that your function will be stress-free and highly enjoyable. We do our best to meet any requirement and provide efficient and friendly service to all our guests. We are here to assist you with all your questions and can offer you a range of advice in order to make your wedding day, or any other event a memorable occasion.

Our specialised Event Management Team has enormous experience in creating memorable & successful events, with the right combination of layout, timing, great food and impeccable service. Seminars and Training Functions

The Douglas Function Centre offers you a private space with ample room and equipment to assist you in providing a great training facility for your staff. The room is soft with natural lighting and equipped with projector, white screen, PA system, lectern, flip chart and paper all in a comfortable air conditioned space.  The room allows for different layout options from round tables, horse shoe and classroom styles to suit any seminar you wish to perform. A tea and coffee station is provided all day as is water, linen and staff to ensure all your needs are met during your time in the Douglas Centre.

We cater for many conferences and have a package that appeals to most clients to take the pain out of having your guests leave to find alternate meal options etc. You may choose all or let us know what your needs are and cater for those. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon options all available.

The Douglas Function Centre has been designed purely for your wedding day bliss. From the elegant lighting, private bar and dance floor, you will feel comfortable and relaxed as you enjoy your special day here with us. The room houses up to 90 people comfortably, depending upon your chosen layout. With bridal table, round tables, linen, chair covers, and equipment all in air conditioned comfort. Versatile menus ranging from low and high end. Finger food, cocktail, two and three course al a carte menus, buffet and also two and three course Rockgrill Menus.

Private bridal suite, bathrooms, and parking for your grand entrance, make this site a must to inspect.

Here at The Douglas Function Centre, no event is too small or too big. We cater for everything from birthdays, weddings, wedding anniversary, night and day seminars and training functions, wakes, breakfasts, or simply book the function room for interviews or whatever need you have. Simply contact our experienced function coordinator to individually design a function to meet your every need.

As we are a Restaurant, Southern Stones Bar and Rockgrill, a Function Room, The Douglas Function Centre and a Four star, thirty room Motel, all your needs will be met under one umbrella.
